42nd St and Judd Skelton are planning the takeover of the Community Mental Health Transformation Board meeting in February to push for young people designing and leading training for mental health providers (Feb 2023).
Judd chairs a meeting called the ‘GM Living Well Coordinating Group’. At the meeting on the 1st of Feb they are going to discuss the date for the next in person meeting they will have and we can aim to do a takeover of that session.
As Judd’s work is connected to Living Well research project we can also utilise 42nd St's peer researchers. It will also be a great chance for the LT group to put into practice some of the facilitation skills they are learning.
The aim will be to get the discussion started about young person-led training for people working in mental health services and hopefully there will be the right people in the room to get that moving!
42nd St will keep us posted on developments.
